This characteristic holiday home is very quiet, surrounded by a pear orchard. Within ten minutes you can cycle through the beautiful forest area "De Manteling" to the beach of Oostkapelle. You can reach Middelburg, Veere, or Vlissingen in twenty minutes by car. The house is part of an old farmhouse that has been converted into two holiday homes and used to belong to the "Buitenplaats Molenwijck". Only one part is for rent, the other part is sometimes used as a family holiday home by the owners (almost always occupied during the summer holidays). There is a lot of space and nature around the house, you have a lovely private terrace on the side of the house. The Perenboomgaard is managed by a fruit company, all year round the activities consist of pruning, mowing, spraying, and picking. Especially in the picking season (September/October), there is a lot of activity and old-fashioned coziness. When you enter the house, on the right, you see a spacious sitting room with a wooden floor. This room has a wonderfully wide and unobstructed view over the pear orchard. There is a cozy sitting area with a TV. On the other side of the long, characteristic hallway (with a beautiful view of the orchard and the church tower of Oostkapelle) is the completely renovated, luxurious, and cozy kitchen, followed by a spacious utility room with dishwasher, a second sink, and enough storage space. From this dining kitchen, a side door leads to the large outdoor terrace. At the end of the hallway on the right is the beautiful bathroom with a shower & toilet and washing machine. The wooden staircase leads to the first floor with three bedrooms and plenty of cupboard space in the hallway. All three rooms have comfortable beds and a beautiful view over the orchard. There is a room with a bunk bed, next to it a spacious single room, and then a spacious double room. Two rooms have their own sink. At the end of the stairs is a neat toilet. The house can be rented for five people, ideal for a family! The house and the surroundings exude peace, nature, and outdoor life. * PLEASE NOTE: the wood stove cannot be used!
